Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Salefierce collects when you visit this website or contact us, how that information is used, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
Salefierce (“we”, “us”) is an editorial project published at salefierce.com. For privacy-related correspondence the data controller can be reached at privacy@salefierce.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we will receive the name, email address and message content you provide. If you subscribe to a mailing list (where offered) we will receive your email address and any preferences you set.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites we collect basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, the date and time of your visit, the pages requested, the referring URL (if any), and information about your browser and device. This is collected by the web server and used for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar storage to keep the site working correctly (for example, to remember whether you have completed a security challenge during a session). We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the editorial pages of this site. Pages that include third-party analytics or advertising will say so in a banner before any non-essential cookies are set.
How we use information
- To respond to your messages and provide the content you requested.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To produce aggregate, non-identifying statistics about how the site is used.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted third parties to operate the site: a hosting provider, an email service for sending replies, and (where applicable) an analytics provider. These providers process information on our behalf under contracts that restrict its use.
How long we keep information
We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months). Server logs are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted or anonymized. Mailing-list subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to certain processing, or request a copy. To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@salefierce.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Security
We use HTTPS for all traffic, restrict administrative access, and apply security updates to the underlying server software. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
Children
This site is intended for adult professional readers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email. The current version is always available at this URL.
